International Education Week
A week-long annual celebration of international education and exchange from November 18 - 22, 2024, culminating in our signature event All Around the World: Languages and Cultures Festival on Fri., Nov. 22 at 5 p.m.
TU International is pleased to invite all students, faculty, and staff to participate in International Education Week 2024. This joint initiative from the U.S. Departments of Education and State highlights new and continuing international activities on campus. It starts Monday (Nov. 18) and will continue throughout the week with events, interactive activities, information sessions and more!

Book Discussion: Portuguese Jews and new Christians in Colonial Brazil, 1500-1822

Join Alan Marcus, TU professor of geography and environmental planning, as he discusses
his book Portuguese Jews and New Christians in Colonial Brazil, 1500-1822. Drawing
on nearly 20,000 digitized dossiers of the Portuguese Inquisition, this volume offers
a comprehensive, critical overview informed by both relatively inaccessible secondary
sources and a significant body of primary sources. Book sale and signing to follow.
