Biography
Maria Perpetua “Perpie” Liwanag earned her doctoral degree in Language, Literacy, and Culture from the University of Arizona in 2006. Her research interests include miscue and eye movement miscue analysis, digital literacies, critical literacy, and children's literature. Her current research examines how eye movement miscue analysis (EMMA) can be utilized as a pedagogical tool for enhancing pre-service and in-service teachers’ understanding of the reading process.
