Christine Engbert launched her career as a computer scientist in private industry and with the Department of Defense. She later transitioned to elementary and secondary education and has more than a decade of experience incorporating technology, computing, and STEM instructional leadership in the K-12 classroom. Her research interests include engaging gender/minority and underrepresented student populations in computer sciences at an early age.
