Teaching with discussion, integrating the curriculum, and ethnic pedagogies.
Dr. Shargel currently teaches educational research courses in the College of Education to graduate students. In addition Dr. Shargel teaches courses in a variety of subjects including learning sciences, experiential education, and moral education for both students in the College of Education as well as those pursing a master’s degree in the College of Liberal Arts in Jewish Studies, Education and Communal Leadership. Dr. Shargel’s research interests include dyadic learning, teaching during the pandemic, and teaching controversial content within online asynchronous simulations.
