Biography
Karen Gempp has served as an administrative assistant in the Division of Student Affairs and Division of Academic Affairs offices since 2017. She is the acting cost center manager for each budget within the department, onboards and supervises graduate assistants and undergraduate student workers, organizes office logistics, coordinates key distribution, recruits student workers, tables at orientation and open houses and trains staff on new policies centered around the usage of travel resources and budget management.
In addition to her administrative duties, Ms. Gempp is a member of the department's recruitment committee and serves on the scholarship committee. She actively participates in university open houses, leadership development and promoting the Department of Music.
Ms. Gempp holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Development.
