Our newest graduates are joining a community of more than 192,000 Tiger alumni around the globe putting their skills to use to make the world a better place.

Meet several of our graduates who overcame obstacles, seized opportunities and stand ready to tackle new challenges with their TU bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees.

As a student-athlete, I learned the importance of time management, discipline, and teamwork鈥攕kills that have been invaluable in my academic and professional journeys. The coaching staff and my teammates played a key role in fostering a strong sense of accountability and work ethic which contributed to my success on and off the field. 

Howard is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in economics with minors in finance and business administration. While at TU she played for the team. 

In the geography and environmental planning department I benefited from amazing professors who genuinely cared about my growth and success. Being part of a small, close-knit department allowed me to build meaningful relationships with my lecturers and classmates, while enjoying the advantages of small class sizes. 

Satti is graduating with a master鈥檚 degree in geography and environmental planning. He served as a graduate assistant for TU鈥檚 geography department and supported international students as a global ambassador in the International Student & Scholar Office. 

My favorite moment from my TU experience was getting to work with the student avatars in Hawkins Hall. Getting to practice teaching mini-lessons and talking with multi-lingual learners on avatars was so cool and an opportunity that I know would not have happened without attending TU. 

Brown is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education. She was an active member of the Peer Writing Mentor program in the early childhood and elementary education departments. 

The Wealth Management Competition, volunteering at Robert W. Coleman, and participating in the Celebration of Scholarship and Learning are just a few of the transformative experiences that allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings, develop essential skills, and make meaningful contributions in the Towson community. 

Dunham is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in business analytics. He participated in Mentoring to Advance Professional Development (MAPD), a year-long mentorship focused on building closer, more meaningful relationships with a professional from his chosen industry. 

My family came to the U.S. to give me the opportunities they did not have growing up, and I am proud to be their daughter earning my degree from TU. I'm proud that I pushed myself to do the best I can in my academic career while maintaining leadership positions and participating in the Towson community.

Carnero is graduating with a Bachelor of  Science in sociology and anthropology with a concentration in criminal justice with a minor in human rights and history. She was a Co-Chair of the CLA Dean鈥檚 Student Advisory Council for the majority of her time at TU and was a member of the .

To me, this accomplishment means my resilience knows no bounds. The pain, the tears, the laughter, the procrastination, the lock-in moments - everything I've done contributed to me getting here. Since nothing was in vain, I can wholeheartedly say I have no regrets. 

Mwansa is graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies with a minor in marketing. She was active in the and the Healthy and Diverse Minds student organization and held a workshop during the TU Women in Leadership Conference. 

No matter what it looks like, anything is possible. It doesn't matter if you have to take a semester off and put your education on hold because of life circumstances. College isn't going anywhere. In the end, all that matters is that you get your degree. Slow and steady always wins the race. 

Jones is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a pre-veterinarian concentration and a minor in African and African American studies. After taking a zoology class, she found her passion for veterinary medicine and joined the . 

Graduating as a first-generation student means breaking barriers and fulfilling dreams that once felt out of reach for my family. This achievement is not just my own鈥攊t represents the expectation, encouragement and steady support of my family and friends, who dreamed of a brighter future for me. 

Huang is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She was a member of the TU Student Nursing Association and served as a supplemental instruction leader. She will be working as a cardiovascular surgical ICU nurse upon graduation.
