About Our People
The About Our People element provides three square roll-over image links added to college and department landing pages. This content element is accessed through the Mult-Edit feature and is generally maintained by Digital Strategy in collaboration with department chairs and/or college deans.
This is an Admin-Only snippet. Digital Strategy determines where and when to add it to pages, and manages its design and content.
This snippet should only be used in the Full-Width Region.
The About Our People content element is intended to showcase students, faculty and
alumni from an academic department. Working in close collaboration with Digital Strategy,
department chairs and/or college deans identify three individuals the department would
like to highlight on their landing page.
After getting faculty and student recommendations Digital Strategy will work with a team of writers and photographers who will interview, photograph and draft an article about three department affiliates.
Once the content has been created it goes through an approval process to make certain all parties are satisfied with the About Our People article, after which Digital Strategy will then link each article from the About Our People content element.

When to Use It
Academic departments use this content element to highlight faculty, students and alumni. Each About Our People department landing page element will link to an article about a specific faculty member, student or alumni.
