Events Block

The Events Block gives you the option to promote three events with the option to add an event title, date and optional link. 

This is a DIY snippet. You can add it to your pages without assistance from Digital Strategy. Make sure to follow all standards outlined in this guide.


This snippet should only be used in the Full-Width Region.

 

Required and Optional Fields

  • title: required
  • date: required
  • time / location: optional
  • link: optional (link text does not appear)

When to Use It

Use the Events Block to highlight manually curated events with a snippet (rather than using the events section, which comes built into some department and college landing pages and is managed on the backend). 

When to Use Something Else

If you have a need for an RSS events feed coming from TU’s master events calendar you should use the events option available within the page parameters.
