Professional Licensure Programs

Professional licensure is required to pursue many professions and requirements can vary by state. Below is a list of licensure program that TU offers and its current determination of in what states each program meets licensure requirements.

Towson University offers the following programs that meet the degree requirements for professional licensure in Maryland. In some cases, there exists reciprocity agreements between Maryland and other states. These agreements allow individuals who hold a professional license in one state to earn a license in another state, subject to meeting state-specific requirements. Most states have policies to extend reciprocity for certain licenses, but few states provide full reciprocity for all fully licensed professionals from other states. Click on the links below to view a licensure disclosure on each program.

Individuals may be able to graduate from one of TU's programs then go to another state and be eligible for licensure if they meet all of the other requirements besides the degree. This page represents the best information currently available to determine professional licensure requirements and reciprocity with TU's programs.
