Accounting Minor
Gain advanced accounting skills while pursuing your major in another field.
The accounting minor is for students who want advanced accounting skills and knowledge that will be beneficial to their careers but aren’t interested in becoming CPAs. The minor is a perfect complement to majors in business administration, economics or math with a concentration in actuarial science and risk management, but it is open to students from all programs other than accounting.
Program Requirements
The accounting minor consists of 24 units; all must be completed with a grade equivalent of 2.00 or higher. Non-CBE majors who elect an accounting minor are not formally admitted to the College of Business and Economics and will not graduate from CBE.
