Human Resources Certification (SHRM-CP)
Students in their final year of study who have earned at least 500 hours of internship and/or practical HR experience are eligible to sit for the to earn the (SHRM) Certified Professional credential. SHRM-CP credentials distinguishes human resource management professionals and signals a high level of knowledge and skills.
The department offers a MNGT 470 Special Topics in Management course in both the fall and spring terms to help students prepare for the exam.

If you wish to take Directed Readings (MKTG 491), Independent Research (MNGT 495), Management Internship (MNGT 497) or Practicum in Management (MNGT 498), you will need to fill out the appropriate forms and have them approved prior to registering for these courses.
