DC Tuition Assistance

The DC College Access Act of 1999 provides tuition subsidies to Washington, D.C., residents to attend colleges and Â鶹´«Ã½ in Maryland.

DC Tuition Assistance Grant


The pays the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition, up to $10,000 annually at public colleges.  Funds are limited. Apply early. 

Application Process

  • Review these , which include DC residency requirements, age limits, and other requirements.  You must be pursuing your first bachelor’s degree.
  • Complete the by June 30, to receive priority funding.  They will process applications received after June 30, on a funds available basis.
  • Complete the FAFSA.
  • Submit all the DC OneApp supporting documents.
