The News Block Callout gives you the option to promote two or three news stories. You can add links to the TU newsroom, to PDFs or other external news sources.
This is a DIY snippet. You can add it to your pages without assistance from Digital Strategy. Make sure to follow all standards outlined in this guide.
This snippet should only be used in the Full-Width Region.
With the News Block Callout there is also an option for a photo (use image code “m”) but photos are not required. If you add photos, you must include three news stories. Limit content in the Title field to 2 lines of text and the content in the Desc field to 3-4 lines of text. Link text does not appear.
Use the News Block Callout when you want to display two or three news stories (with optional links) to promote recent newsworthy and relevant information about your college, department or office. News stories should only be added to promote recent news and should never be a repository for out-of-date content.
To promote events or other similar linked content consider using the Events Block or the Event Update Block Callout.
