Laura Lamb Memorial Scholarship
The Laura Lamb Memorial Scholarship was established in 1992 by Cindi Lamb in memory of her daughter, Laura Lamb. It was first awarded in 1993. The scholarship is a $1000 award open to full or part-time undergraduate or graduate students with a documented disability. Applicants may be current TU students, transfer students or incoming freshman. The minimum cumulative grade point average must be 2.50. The recipient may reapply for the scholarship the following year.
ADS accepts applications for the Laura Lamb Memorial Scholarship every year between January 1 to February 28.
Applicants will need to write an essay that describes their background, important influences in their life, and any achievements of which they are particularly proud. They may also address their education and career goals and how their disability has impacted them.
Applicants will also be required to upload documentation of their disability. The type of documentation needed depends on the nature of the disability (See Documentation Guidelines). First year or transfer students must submit a certified transcript from the school in which they are currently enrolled.
