The CBE Living Learning Community provides members with opportunities to connect with students, faculty, staff, and alumni from the College of Business and Economics and to get a head start on their future business careers.
Students in this community will receive social and academic support to enrich their first-year college experience. This community is open to residents interested in pursuing any major within the College of Business and Economics, including those studying:

What are the eligibility requirements?
Residents in the College of Business and Economics Learning Community will be registered for ECON 201 – Microeconomic Principles and TSEM 102 through the
College of Business and Economics in the fall term. Please complete and submit your Academic Interest form by the deadline provided by Academic Advising. Classes can’t be assigned until the Academic Interest form has been submitted.
How do I apply?
Current Residents: Applications will be available for the role model/liaison process is mid-February.
Incoming First Year Students interested in the CBE must complete the online housing request process. This includes paying a $350 non-refundable housing deposit and agreeing to the terms and conditions of the housing contract. During the online process students will be able to identify interest in the CBE Community.
What staffing is there for the community?
The community will have a Resident Assistant and multiple Liaisons and Role Models. Additionally, there will be support from the College of Business and Economics and Housing & Residence Life.
How many roommates would I have?
Student rooms are suite style, (i.e., two double rooms sharing a bath).
Does my roommate have to be interested in the community?
To be assigned with your roommate in a Living Learning Community, your roommate must also select interest in the Living Learning Community when applying for University Housing and meet any criteria necessary to be a part of the community.
How do I make a medical accommodation request?
All medical accommodations are submitted through Accessibility & Disability Services.
When was the CBE Community Established?
Fall 2022 will be the CBE Learning Community’s inaugural semester.
